1780s Treasure Island

Inspired by the pirates in Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, and designed by Wayne Martin, this ensemble included a boned jacket and skirt, with blouse, petticoat and bumroll underneath. The back of the jacket was pleated, and fully lined.

This was definitely as challenge, with tight deadlines and a regularly changing brief, but I managed to pull through and the costume was used within AUB's production of Treasure Island (2019), as the fanciful dress of Doctor Livesey.
