1920s Wool Coat

This 1920's Surplice-style coat was inspired by the sketches from Stella Bloom's 'Everyday fashion in the 1920's', and features inserted sunburst panels and fur collar. It was the first time I had experienced female tailoring, and it was a really enjoyable make. It was also the first time I had worked with fur, which proved a challenge at times but I would say that the finished result turned out really well.
